Denver Indian Health and Family Services
What We Do...
Our agency's activities are based on the physical, mental, social and spiritual health of Native Americans while providing culturally acceptable personal and public health services.
In the details...
Denver Indian Health and Family Services (DIHFS) is very important for the urban Native American/Alaskan Native (NA/AN) community here in the Denver Metro area because it is an essential place where you can access health care services that are more culturally appropriate and culturally understood. This allows DIHFS to treat or coordinate care for NA/AN patients effectively within the Denver area.
DIHFS focuses on integrated care between multiple clinic types, which provides patients with an easy and proactive way to manage patient care and create a healthy community. Diabetes, medical, dental, and behavioral health are all offered at the same location.
