In the details...
Jessica’s story is one of inspiration, which demonstrates how a person can achieve their dreams with hard work and determination. When Jessica came to CHF, she was emotionally traumatized after her husband of 19 years tried to take Jessica and their 2 children’s lives by soaking them in gasoline and then he tried to light them on fire. Jessica was able to rescue her children and her husband was checked into Fort Logan Mental Institute. Jessica entered CHF’s program which provided her with, transitional housing, food, clothing, counseling and case management. Her dream was to run a child care facility so she began a 2 year program to become a licensed child care director while working part-time and cared for her children. Jessica was determined to be self-sufficient and worked hard to reach her goal. She graduated with her Director’s License in Early Childhood Education and in 2013, had an opportunity to purchase a Child Care Facility which she is currently operating. Jessica is a CHF success story!
